Jurgi Persoons "Arterial Biopsy" Black Wool Coat with Lace SS1999

A Jurgi Persoons black wool expertly tailored coat with "Arterial Biopsy" artistic detailing along the back and side of the coat. The exquisitely cut and tailored coat has black lace details with red nervous style stitching to give the classic cut of the coat an avant-garde detail that is breathtaking. The coat is from the Jurgi Persoons Spring / Summer 1999 collection. 

Jurgi Persoons, a Royal Academy of Arts Antwerp graduate - is a cult designer of Belgium descent who designed for his eponymous label in the late nineties and into the early 2000s before closing down to retire from the fashion world in 2003. Jurgi is now the Head of Textile and Fashion at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague in the Netherlands; the school that some of the Antwerp Six like Ann Demeuleemester and Martin Margiela attended.
