The iconic Saint Laurent Rive Gauche black velvet cocktail dress with a v-neckline accentuated by a black satin tiered ruffle. The dress has the pouf detail at the shoulder of the sleeve and black satin ruffles at the cuff of the sleeves. The dress is belted at the highways with a satin bow detail.
The dress is from 1986 and made famous when photographed on the Yves Saint Laurent muse and haute couture client French actress Catherine Deneuve. As seen in photo 5.
